Forbis and Powers WIN on crankbaits & 11' worms.
Bass Anglers Tournament Series 6/13/2010. Pomme De Terre Lake, Bolivar Landing,
Barry Forbis and Brent Powers got on a great pattern to win this event weighing in 12.2 pounds. Barry and Brent reported catching and culling fish on a all day bite utilizing a crankbait in 2' to 4' of water in the morning, and then as the day went on and the sun got brighter they switched to a 11" worm in 10' to 14' of water, keying in on a sharp drop to to catch 17 keepers. This Team also caught the BIG BASS of the tournament weighing in @ 4.8 pounds. 1st place & BIG BASS paid $300.00 Congradulation.
Taking 2nd place was the Team of Klepper & Klepper, Wayne and Nathan reported catching their fish on crankbaits shallow around bushs and also catching them good on Chomper lizards in 5' to 6' of water. This Team reported their bite shut down around noon. These guy's would like to Thank their Sponsors Troutt & Son's, and also Chomper Bait Co. 2nd Place paid $175.00 Great Job Guys.
Taking 3rd Place was the Team of Mark Coffer and Jim McGinnis, Mark and Jim reported catching their fish flippin jigs in 2' to 4' of water and also on a crankbait, on a all day bite in the river to catch more than 20 plus keppers. 3rd place paid $140.00 Congradulations.
