I was introduced to the outdoors at a very young age by my father and my uncles. I started deer hunting at the age of thirteen and fished in my first bass tournament at the age of 15. After that first tournament I knew that I wanted to fish professionally. By the time I graduated high school I was fishing a buddy circuit and the Redman tournament trail. I was fortunate to meet Mark Menendez back then who mentored me in my tournament fishing. After years of fishing locally I decided it was time to enter the Bassmaster circuit in pursuit of my dream.. In 2005 Mark and I entered the Southern Opens together. The knowledge I learned in that one year was priceless. I fished all three events and up 57^th overall for the year. This year I entered the Southern Opens again and have made the cut in the first two events. I currently sit in 12th place.  I also was invited to fish the Toyota Texas Bass Classic through the PAA. I am hoping to make a career in professional fishing.
