Lake of the Ozarks - March 22, 2009 Ramp - PB2
The fishing at Lake of the Ozarks was HOT Sunday. A total of 54 teams made their way down to PB2 for takeoff, and returned with some impressive sacks of fish. The top five teams all had 5 fish limits over 20 lbs, and numerous big bass were brought to the scales with the largest being a 7.71 lb lunker. The majority of the anglers reported catching their fish up shallow, using everything from jerkbaits and spinnerbaits to jigs and wiggle warts.
The team of Duane Hanzlik and Chris Jeffries topped the field though, with a big sack of fish that pushed the scales down to 22.79 lbs. They took home a cool $2,140.00 for the win.

Chris Jeffries and Duane Hanzlik took 1st place overall, with a big 5 fish limit that weighed in at 22.79 lbs. They covered a wide area throughout the day, fishing locations from the mouth of the Glaize on up to Hurricane Deck. Chris and Duane reported catching their bass shallow around secondary points on wiggle warts, jerkbaits, and spinnerbaits. They took home a total of $2,140.00 for the day.

Dion and Conner Hibdon took 2nd place, with a hefty sack of fish that tipped the scales at 22.28 lbs. Dion and Conner fished the Niangua and Osage, targeting shallow rocky points with jigs and Luck E Strike jerkbaits. They won a total of $1204.00.

The team of Ken Young and Kevin Waites placed 3rd overall, with a limit that pushed the scales down to 21.13 lbs. They fished the Glaize Arm, catching their fish in 10ft of water with black and blue JD Jigs tipped with Zoom Chunk trailers, and spinnerbaits. Ken and Kevin won a total of $762.00

Big Bass of the day went to the team of Andy Greer and Brett Pinion. They weighed in a 7.71 lb. lunker and took home a check for $378.00.
Curt and Loren Graves came in first out of the money, and won an AiA Sponsor Pack with items from Omega Custom Tackle, Seaguar Line, and Knuckle Down Lures.
