Tournament fishing to say the least is trying. Patterns that produced during pratice sometimes fall apart on tournament day. Going three hours without putting a keeper in the boat makes concentration hard. I found myself going thorugh the same problems, making my day harder and taking the fun out of competing. Remember to make the day a fun time, this takes the pressure off of you and the whole day enjoyable. You'll find that your more in tune with whats going on around you and time will not be such a big factor. As I fished behind Pro's in the FLW Tour events I soon saw how calm and collected they were all day. They seemed to just know the bites would come and did not pressure themselves during slow times.
