Membership – Open to anyone age 16 or older, boater or non-boater, no experience necessary!
Fees - $25.00 yearly dues, $30.00 tournament entry fee per person for each tournament.
Affiliation - Central States Bass Association is NOT an affiliated club.

Tournaments – There are 8 regular monthly tournaments held from March through October with a year end Tournament of Champions. The March and July tournaments are 2-day buddy tournaments (one member of each team must be a club member) and the other 6 tournaments are one day draw tournaments. The top 3 places in each tournament receive cash. For each tournament, 90% of the entry fees are paid back to the top 3 fishermen, and 10% is held back for the Tournament of Champions fund. If the tournament is sponsored, then the 4th place and below choose from prizes purchased with the sponsor money (usually 4th through 7th or 8th place get prizes). We have optional side pots for Boater and Non-Boater Big Bass which is $5.00 per person per day, winners take all.
Sponsorship – CSBA is always looking for tournament sponsors. The cost to sponsor a tournament is $200.00. The sponsor receives club membership for the year, one paid entry fee for the sponsored tournament (boater or non-boater), a first place take-off number for the tournament sponsored, and an invitation to address the club at the pre-tournament meeting to discuss your business, products, services, etc. The tournament sponsor is also recognized on this page and everywhere our tournament results are posted (KC Star, 7/24 Outdoors, etc.). Tournament sponsors also get the opportunity to interact with many potential clients on the day of the tournament.

IN ADDITION to the regular monthly tournaments, the club will also host “Show Up and Fish” tournaments every Sunday beginning June 13th running through sometime in November. These will always be on Smithville, at W Ramp, from tentatively 7am to Noon (exact times TBA). $10 per person to fish, with a $5 per boat Big Bass pot. At least one person in the boat must be a CSBA member.
